About Us
The Ocean City Sailing Foundation is a vital force in promoting sailing to all who want to learn all aspects of the sport in the Ocean City, New Jersey community. The determination and commitment displayed by the founding members who started this organization in 2007 serves as an inspiration to the sport and community at large. In the first year we serviced one hundred and ten students. Seasons 2009, 2010, and 2011 exceeded our wildest expectations and season 2012 promises to be even more exciting. |

The City of Ocean City has assisted us in every way possible. They provided us with the incredible facility located at Bayside Center which is under renovation by a well-known, award winning architect. Also provided was the floating dock system. These are but a few ways in which Ocean City helped as a valuable partner and continue to help us make this program grow.

The Ocean City Sailing Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3), organization dedicated to introducing the general public to the exciting, thrilling, sport of sailing. Founded in 2007, with many years of experience, we know how important individual instructor attention is, which is why most classes have a student to instructor ration of 4:1. This allows instructors the flexibility to address the individual needs of all our students. The students are comforted to know an instructor is always nearby to help out. We welcome your membership and/or contribution as we also offer financial aid to students in need. |
