Our Programs

Three levels of sailing instruction:

Beginner
This level is for those who have never sailed before and want the experience and knowledge of learning how to sail. This level is open to both youth and adult ages but one must be at least eight years of age.

Intermediate
This level is for those who have some experience on the water and want to advance. It is also a refresher course and our repeat discounts can be applied to this level of instruction.

Competitive
Our US Sailing certified instructors are experienced on the race course and with 420's. Anyone wanting to learn US Sailing rules, like right of way, when boats meet, or starts, this is the level for you. We are also exploring coaching local high schools interested in organizing teams.

Hours of Operation:

Lessons for the 2012 season start June 18th and end August 31th
Monday through Friday and Saturday Mornings
Four or Five half-day sessions are available
Morning Sessions for Beginner: 9 AM to 12 Noon
Afternoon Sessions for Intermediates: 1 PM to 4 PM

Private lessons and rescheduled make-up lessons:

Fridays 9 AM to Noon and 1 PM to 4 PM
Saturdays 9 AM to Noon
Monday through Friday evening from 4:30 to 7:30 PM

Please Note - There will be no lessons on July 4th

Classes:

2 hour "Introduction to Sailing" session - $120
Four half-day sessions - $240
Five half-day sessions - $290
Three hour private lessons - $150 for up to three students
(subject to boat weight and capacity limitations)

Available Discounts:

Families who register and pay for two family member students will receive a 10% discount
Families who register and pay for three or more family member students will receive a 15% discount
Students of families who are OCSF members receive a 10% discount
Families who register and pay for multiple sets of lessons for a student: After first set of lessons at full price, a 10% discount will be applied for the second lesson and 15% discount on all future lessons sets.

* No more than one type of discount may be applied to any student

The 2012 Sailing Season Starts June 18th and end August 31th
